Merger proposal

Premier Soccer League 2008–09 and ABSA Premier Soccer League 2008–09 season cover the same season of the Premier Soccer League. Their introduction paragraphs are almost identical, but the content of the articles differs greatly and could be worked into one article. I propose merging the latter into the former because the other Premier Soccer League season articles are all styled in that fashion (ie, Premier Soccer League 1997-98, Premier Soccer League 2004-05, etc). The content of the ABSA Premier Soccer League 2008–09 season article is rather long, consisting of a full list of match summaries, so perhaps these should be kept on a separate page, which could be renamed to something more descriptive. It is wonderfully detailed information, but articles on some of the major leagues in the world do not have match summaries but only a league table and table of results (see Egyptian Premier League 2008-09, Premier League 2008–09, Primera División Argentina 2008–09, Fußball-Bundesliga 2008–09, Ligue 1 2008–09).TFCforever (talk) 22:50, 12 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The reason why I have made it two seperate articles is because I wanted the detailed results to be on a seperate page to make it easier for the reader to read it and to keep the main article as sort as possible. Jonathanburger (talk) 07:36, 13 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
